Waxing Tips

Avoid exposure to the sun or sunbed before or after any depilatory session. If you are planning to attend a special event, we recommend hair removal the day before.

Waxing Contraindications

Waxing cannot be performed on clients who are currently using the following medications or products:

• Acne Medications: Accutane, Differin, Isotretinoin (like Accutane) Tazorac, and Revona (Retin-A)
• Alpha Hydroxy Acids (Glycolic, Lactic)
• Retinol
• Topical Antibiotics
• Exfoliants Such as Laser Peels and Microdermabrasion

These medications tend to weaken the skin and cause tears that may occur when the wax gets removed.
